Nicos is very active in the up-and-coming real estate communities of the NYC area, helping investors develop a variety of construction and housing projects.

In 2018, he was nominated Business Person of the Year by the Queens Chamber of Commerce for his contributions to the Greek American community and to Queens as a whole.

In 2017, Nicos received Citations of Merit for his meaningful contributions as a community leader from Senator Joseph P. Abbado, Jr. (New York State District 15) and was also awarded a Certificate of Merit by the New York State Assembly.

In 2014, he received a Citation of Honor directly from the President of the Borough of Queens, Melinda Katz.

Senator George Onorato (New York State District 14) has also awarded Nicos a Citation of Merit for his meaningful contributions to the borough of Queens and his community.

In 2005, he was elected President of the Panpaphian Association of America, where he served for two years.

An avid soccer player, Nicos also served as President of Eleftheria-Pancyprians, a community youth soccer club in Astoria, NY.

Nicos graduated from St. Francis College with a degree in Business Management and Finance.
